Gerrit Graham (Rhinebeck, NY)In a world tyrannized by the Almighty Chocolate Chip, these old-skool butterscotch cookies are a revelation -- they're just preposterously good. Maybe 5 years ago, I'd found one bag, once, in one deli, on 34th St. One taste and I was a goner. I blew a lot of time searching for more, finally deciding that they really had been too good to be true. Luddite that I am, I never thought of looking online, if you can believe it, till my children rather patronizingly suggested it. And now! I've regularly been dropping large chunks of their inheritance on the things. I can't imagine better cookies. They're killer. They murder me. 10 stars. I thank you, my children do not.
Cynthia Urban (Belleville, NJ)Having been in the restaurant business for a few years, I have had every dessert imaginable. If I had a choice between a cup of tea & these Pecan-Butterscotch cookies VS. a Flourless Chocolate Cake, it would be the cookies & tea hands down. I just found them last night at a store called Corrado's across the river from me. At first I could not find a package of these. Then I started moving the others around & there it was !! The last package. Please do NOT EVER, EVER stop making these.
Sally Eagle (Crownsville, MD)The butterscotch pecan cookies are delicious. Crispy, buttery, just overall yummy. I was so glad to see that Kathleen has brought these back, although in the 3-bag vs 6-bag configuration and, possibly, for only a short time. I know that because they are so fragile there is a shipping/damage issue. But these are so good I wouldn't care if they came as a bag of crumbs. I would gladly eat them with a spoon. Please, guys, keep them coming. They are scrumptious!
