A memory from Ebinger's Bakery in Brooklyn. Three moist chocolate cake layers, filled with very dark, smooth chocolatey filling that also acts as the icing. The whole cake is covered in chocolate cake crumbs.
Moist, delicious and not too sweet.

Marie Antoinette Cake ~
A favorite and delicious from top to bottom. We begin with
a layer of yellow cake, a layer of raspberry jam, and one of raspberry buttercream,
followed by layers of chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, and a final layer of yellow
cake iced with vanilla buttercream and topped with a marzipan and apricot jam
glaze with cake crumbs and almonds on the side.
