Tate's Bake Shop offers a unique product and the many fans of our cookies know it! No other bakery makes a thin, crispy cookie that can compare. Retail customers seek out stores that carry our products, they tell their friends, and they usually turn out to be that favorite of all customers, a repeat customer!
For a number of years now we have been placing our all natural cookies in high end gourmet and natural food stores across the country. Our wholesale customers report strong sales that are consistent over time. Customers may select from nine flavors and five packaging options: We offer an 8oz clear cello bag, a 7oz box, a 7oz white bag, a 3oz white bag and a 1.8oz 3-cookie package. Early in 2011, Tate's introduced a gluten-free chocolate chip cookie.
Kathleen King, the founder of Tate’s Bake Shop, began baking and selling cookies on her family’s Southampton, NY farm stand when she was 11 years old. Her aim has always been to maintain the flavor of those first products - both literally and figuratively! - with fresh ingredients, no preservatives, and the look of a homemade, country store product. The 8 oz cello bags, our signature product, are just that, and are most often merchandised in bakery, deli, or on a metro shelf. Please note that the 8 oz cello bag is available through a distributor only.
Our 7 oz white bag is targeted for grocery shelves and has proven to be a very strong seller, while the decorative, jewel-toned 7 oz box works beautifully in gift baskets. Both our 3 oz white bags and our 3-cookie packs are designed as grab and go items. Please note that the 3-cookie pack is available through a distributor only.

Our minimum opening order is three cases. We regret that Tate’s Bake Shop cannot mix or split cases.
Initial orders are shipped only when prepaid by credit card. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover Cards. Wholesale customers may apply for terms but please allow 2-3 weeks for processing. Any checks returned due to insufficient funds are outsourced to a third-party collection company. A fee will be applied at their discretion. Tate’s Bake Shop reserves the right to revoke payment terms at any time, without notice, and reinstate prepaid terms using Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
Tate’s Bake Shop ships FOB East Moriches, NY. Credit or replacements will be issued for damaged or missing goods reported within seven days of receiving delivery. Please note any damages on the bill of lading when receiving freight deliveries, and hold damaged good for at leat 48 hours. UPS reserves the right to inspect damaged goods prior to settling a claim.
